Program Overview
This is a 6-Week strength program to get you started – for the first time, or again – with strength training. This program will get you more confident, more consistent, and help you start doing strength training more often.
This program emphasizes simplicity and practicality – by choosing less technical exercises, good exercise pairings for supersets, and using limited equipment – dumbbells, bench (no need for an adjustable one, but having one is valuable to allow you to do extra exercise variations in the future), and a stability ball. Specific examples of someone who would benefit from this program:
- The Strength Training Newcomer: you’re completely new to strength training and feel overwhelmed by complicated exercises. You want a simple, easy-to-follow program with clear guidance that will help you build strength safely and effectively, either at home or in the gym.
- The Former Strength Training Enthusiast: you used to strength train regularly but have taken a long break (3-6 months +), for various reasons. You want a practical program that will help ease you back into fitness without overcomplicating things, helping you regain strength and confidence with straightforward exercises.
- The Strength Maintainer: You want to maintain or improve your strength to stay active and independent. You’re looking for a low-impact, simple program that focuses on strength building without putting too much strain on your joints. The minimal equipment and straightforward exercises make this program ideal for you.
The program is done through our app that we use with Online Personal Training, and you’ll have access to a Personal Trainer throughout your program to help answer any questions you have.

There are 3 Strength Training (also known as resistance training or weight training) workouts (Day 1-3) to be done over the course of the week.
