Mike.
Michael Fouts
B.Sc. 12, B.Sc. 22
Two of Mike’s big passions are learning and health promotion. Initially, Mike wanted to be a Doctor but after shadowing Doctors and seeing their day-to-day, and running OverHaul Fitness for a year, Mike realized that being a Personal Trainer and Business Owner was more suited for him – It allowed him a better lifestyle and he could still chase his passions of learning and health promotion.
Mike loves doing anything active, and regularly plays Ice & ball hockey, Squash (the sport, not the vegetable), and does Triathlons during the summer. When he’s not active, he loves watching movies and Tv series – in particular, psychological thrillers.
Mike likes working with:
Helping clients “Look & Feel Really Good Naked.” This means helping people with:
- Fat loss & building muscle
- Changing one’s self perception of how they feel about themselves, and helping them understand diet culture messaging
- Nutrition education: explaining how nutrition isn’t black and white, and food isn’t good/bad; healthy/unhealthy – all food fits
- Helping people understand how to make fitness and nutrition fit their lifestyle; and not the other way around
