Program Overview

This is an Online Program where you’ll be working with an Online Personal Trainer and a Dietitian.

You will get a customized workout program that will focus on different goals at different times during the program; before starting you and your trainer will go over specifics and map out your plan.

You will also get a customized nutrition program by working with a Dietitian. You will go over specifics and map out your plan in the first week with the Dietitian.

A Little Bit About The Name

This program will help you lose fat and build muscle. This is one way to Look Good Feel Good (Naked!). But, we acknowledge that this should be a subjective definition to be created by you. Our Coaches will help you create that definition for yourself during this program.

  • The above being said, this program is still going to be hard; we’re going to push you out of your comfort zone – if you don’t want to change what you’re currently doing and have a challenge this program is not for you
  • You’re someone that wants a new workout every time they go to the gym; from our experience the best results come from simplicity, repetition, and progressively changing things over time
  • You are not tech-literate, this program is online where we’ll heavily be using a smartphone app and computer (eg. Zoom, email) for the delivery and communication
  • If you don’t want to work on your nutrition – this is a workout and nutrition program
  • If you’re new to the gym or working out, you need some prior technical understanding of how to perform various exercises; In-Person Training is likely better suited for you
  • You are not self-motivated
  • Are not willing to invest in yourself; these changes don’t happen overnight, they take time and dedication
  • Your schedule does not allow for 3 workouts per week

More About The Workout Program

You’ll be working with a Personal Trainer in an Online Personal Training fashion – everything is done through our smartphone app and virtual – video and phone calls.

Reminder: Everyone’s workout program and program focus will be a little different. Before starting your program you and your Personal Trainer map out your plan and what you’d like to focus on when (eg. Fat loss, building muscle).

Explanation for the above sample Maximum Fat Loss set up having two 2-week breaks: we’ve found it best to focus on fat loss for 3 weeks or less, then take 1-2 week breaks where you increase calories and take a break from dieting. These weeks can be strategically placed around socials and other times where it might be challenging to eat more strictly.

Throughout working with your Personal Trainer they will modify everything to your skill level, training limitations, and equipment you have available to you- minimum we ask is that you have a set of dumbbells and a bench.

More About The Nutrition Program

You’ll be working with a Dietitian virtually, just like with the Personal Trainer, everything is done through our smartphone app and virtual – video and phone calls.

You will work with a Dietitian to create nutrition plan that supports the plan set out between you and the Personal Trainer. Necessary resources will be provided (eg. Meal Plan, recipes, etc.), and changes to those programs will be made as needed throughout the program. How you decide to track your nutrition during the program will be decided after your first meeting with the Dietitian.

How Nutrition Will Be Tracked

This will be determined after a discussion between you and your coaches, but here are a few ways:

  • Lowest amount of effort: eat less during the fat loss phases and eat more during the build. Then assess your progress using your weigh-ins to change your intake accordingly. This isn’t the recommended approach, but it’s understandable that life can be busy and sometimes this is the best you can do.
  • Low effort: Use the Meal Plan created together and use the nutrition targets of different meals and snacks to introduce variety into your diet while still staying on track.
  • Medium effort: Follow the Meal Plan created together and food journal 3-4x per week; using a tracker like MyFitnessPal, or simply pen and paper.
  • Maximum effort: Use the Meal Plan created together and food journal daily; using a tracker like MyFitnessPal, or simply pen and paper.

Coaching, Communication, and Accountability

  • You will be having regular meetings with both your Personal Trainer and Dietitian. You’ll meet with both in the first week, then regular intervals after
  • Always have access to your Personal Trainer and Dietitian in-app messaging for questions; expectation for response is 1 business day (this does not include weekends)
  • Your Personal Trainer will be reviewing your progress once a week, and be giving you feedback via an in-app message, or screenshare video

FAQ

  • What happens after the program is done?

    You’ll be given two options: 1. Continue working with your Personal Trainer at a discounted rate with OverHaul Fitness's Program + Support Online Personal Training. 2. Continue working with your program independently with our Customized Program Online Personal Training, where you’ll still have access to your Personal Trainer to ask questions along the way. Then, if you’re ready to do a program overhaul we just charge an hourly program design fee.

  • Are there other options than paying everything upfront?

    We will accept a split payment for those that need it, where you pay for half of the program upfront and the other half halfway through. If you want to do this, please contact [email protected] to set this up.

  • If your goal is to just lose fat, why not just do 8 or 14 weeks of Fat Loss?

    You can do this, which you can discuss further with your Trainer during your first meeting. However, here are a few reasons why you might want to switch things up and focus on building some muscle at some point: 1. Dieting for 8 weeks, or longer, is very unenjoyable. This is why we typically recommend 3 week fat loss phases at a time; 2. Taking regular breaks has been shown to help with long-term adherence and help prevent some of the metabolic down-regulation that can happen with dieting for extended periods.; 3. During weight loss you can’t lose 100% fat, therefore some muscle will be lost throughout the fat loss phases in this program. During these breaks you can focus on building muscle (which requires more calories) to help recover some of that lost muscle.

  • What happens if you don't have room for people in this program?

    We reserve time to work with only a set number of people at a time, so there is a chance there won’t be a spot available. If this is the case, we will put you on a wait list and contact you if a spot becomes available.

  • Why no guarantee of weight loss?

    Changes to weight can be misleading. When you build muscle and lose fat in a given time period, it is possible for your weight to stay the same while measurements decrease. This is why we don’t have a guarantee.

  • Can the nutrition program be customized to vegetarian or vegan?

    Yes. You’ll work closely with the Dietitian to figure out the best plan for you.
